Pre-Apprenticeship Programme

It’s been a packed half term for the Pre-Apprenticeship sixth formers. 

Highlights have included:

• Time at a military training academy exploring whether the military could be a future pathway for any of our students
• First Aid training under the experienced guidance of Nuco Training
• Attending the Apprenticeship Fair at StoneX Stadium. Students visited stalls and collected information to help them decide on potential apprenticeships for July 2025. Aryana expressed how, ‘it was useful to see the opportunities and make links for the future.’
• Mock interviews with school governors and members of our own Senior Leadership Team

Coming up next half term we will be working with Phoenix Outdoor Centre to develop teamwork skills and work on problem solving tasks. 

Upcoming are also our work placements where the students will head off to a variety of challenging but supportive workplaces. 

Finally, we hope to visit the RAF to explore different career options and also visit a bakery in Watford.
