PE Update
It has been an action-packed half term in the PE department, filled with high energy, outstanding teamwork, and incredible pupil leadership!
Match Highlights & Achievements
- Netball Tournament Success: All yeargroup netball teams enjoyed success in their recent tournaments, demonstrating brilliant team cohesion, fast-paced play, and strong shooting across all matches.
- Year 9 Touch Rugby Referees: A huge well done to our Year 9 pupils, who have been learning new officiating skills and putting them into practice by refereeing touch rugby matches for Year 5 primary pupils across Barnet. They represented the school brilliantly as role models and sports leaders.
- Year 7 Boys Football: Massive congratulations to our Year 7 boys football team on securing a fantastic win. They showed brilliant composure and determination on the pitch.
- Year 9 Boys Football: After battling through a challenging series of matches, the Year 9 team’s hard work paid off with a well-deserved victory – featuring some absolutely insane goals!
A huge well done to all pupils who represented the school this half term; your sportsmanship and grit have been fantastic.
Extracurricular Clubs & Getting Involved
It’s been wonderful to see so many pupils getting active, with fantastic turnouts across all our lunchtime and after-school clubs.
- Table Tennis Success: Table Tennis has completely taken off this half term. Pupil engagement has been fantastic, with tables packed every session and players showing great enthusiasm.
We Want to See More of You – We’re looking to get even more pupils involved in two of our clubs. Whether you’re coming for the first time or coming back, everyone is welcome:
- Girls’ Fitness Club (All Years): A great, supportive space to stay active, build confidence, and boost wellbeing with your friends. (Wednesday afterschool)
- Rugby Club (All Years): Open to all skill levels. Whether you want to learn the basics or sharpen your match play, come along and give it a go. (Thursday afterschool)
