Hot Chocolate with the Principal
‘Hot Chocolate with the Principal’ is one of the ways we celebrate and reward pupils who live our values. The pupils aren’t necessarily the highest achievers academically – though some are – but they are the pupils who quietly do the right thing day in, day out.
What’s really special about this reward is that the children are nominated by the teachers. The pupils learn that doing the right thing, in lots of small ways, doesn’t go unnoticed.
The following pupils enjoyed hot chocolate and biscuits with our Acting Principal, Ms Green, on Monday. These are the reasons they were nominated:
Year 7
-
Doa: Always polite, kind, hardworking and cheerful
-
Louisa: Consistently polite and ready to learn; ignoring distractions
Year 8
-
Malik: Respectful, humble, hardworking and a delight to teach
-
Vicky: A star pupil who excels academically and encourages others
Year 9
-
Christian: Courteous, humble, disciplined and with a flawless record
-
Wendy: An exceptionally kind, caring and honest role model
Year 10
-
Ayah: Living our school values every single day
- Kasra: Living our school values every single day
A huge well done to all our award winners. We look forward to setting up our coffee shop again after the half term break for some more worthy winners.
