Anti-Discrimination Lessons
Years 7, 8 and 11 all benefitted from important lessons in PSHCEE delivered by visiting speakers from Stand Up Education Against Discrimination.
The lessons raised awareness about bullying and racism and the dangers of stereotyping people. We were given lots to think about and were given a good foundation for our upcoming lessons on the Equality Act. As we consider the Equality Act, we’ll create Equality Law board games to help us understand the protected characteristics in society.
Saracens High School has worked with Stand Up Education Against Discrimination for the past five years and we are always impressed by the quality of delivery and standard of their resources. Thank you to our PSHCEE Lead, Miss Edwards, for arranging so many excellent visiting groups and speakers to deliver such enagaging lessons that support our curriculum.
