Our Science Curriculum has been designed to ensure all students develop a thirst for knowledge and a curiosity about the world around them. We want students to harness their creativity to explore the world around them by thinking hard, answering questions with precision and enabling them to excel not only at each Key Stage, but also in their interaction in the world, leading to happy and successful lives.
Science underpins our understanding of the natural world. Our curriculum exposes pupils to breadth and depth of scientific ideas and concepts which will embed the knowledge needed for a potential career in STEAM, as well as understanding the world around them and their place in it.
We aim to develop self-regulated, independent and motivated learners with well-developed scientific understanding, practical skills and scientific literacy.
