Personal Statements For University Applications

This week, the second half of our Year 12 students met with admissions tutors from our link university, Middlesex University, to further develop and discuss ideas for their personal statements.

Students have made an excellent start to the personal statement process, and the admissions tutors were highly impressed by the quality of their reflections, the strength of their ideas, and the maturity they demonstrated throughout the sessions.

Looking ahead, Year 12 students will take part in their work experience week at the beginning of July. This will provide a valuable opportunity for them to gain further insight into their chosen career pathways and gather experiences that can strengthen both their personal statements and future applications. We look forward to seeing how students build on these statements and incorporate their learning and experiences into the final question of their write up.
