British Museum
For Making Memories, our Year 8 pupils were taken to the British Museum.
On first entering the magnificent building, the pupils admired fossils of many different animals.
Next, they became fascinated by the weapons and armour on display from different historical wars. This included many pre-technological weapons such as knives and spears, which greatly interested the pupils.
Lastly, they saw the art, from sculptures of strange, mythological creatures, to portraits of prominent historical figures. Captivated by the range of exhibitions, the pupils revisited the sections they liked best before returning back to school.
