University of Reading

On Wednesday 6th of March, the Year 12 A Level and T Level students visited the University of Reading.

Immediately on arriving, they were met by current university students to be given a tour of the campus, in which they were shown lecture halls, food markets, social hangout spaces, and the huge library.

Fascinated, the students were then taken to a small lecture room where they participated in interactive games and activities that educated them about many aspects of university life. This included student finance, course options, support systems, opportunities and responsibilities.

To end the day, one of the current university students spoke on his own experiences whilst at the University of Reading, and hosted a Q&A session, in which our students were eager to ask questions.
