Horse Therapy
As part of a five week programme, six pupils attended horse therapy at Greengate Stables in Barnet.
The aim of the course was to allow pupils to build on various skills such as confidence, working with others and leadership. Accompanied by Ms Moorhouse and Mr Flynn, the children studied the behaviour of the horses as a way of helping them better reflect on themselves.
The pupils helped care for these gentle animals by walking them through obstacle courses, putting on head collars and brushing them.
Our pupils thoroughly enjoyed their time on this programme.
