Message From the Principal

The end of term is often a time for staff to move on or join the Saracens family. After the Easter break we welcome Miss Hawkins who will be our new Lead for Philosophy, Religion, and Ethics, and Mr Chaudhri who is becoming our new Second in Computer Science. Two weeks into the new term, we will be joined by Mr Abdullahi, who is our Lead Practitioner for Computer Science. 

Mrs Freeman-Holmes has moved on after nearly four years at Saracens and we thank her for all her hard work. Mr Kahin will take over as Acting Year 8 Lead for the remainder of this year. As part of the adjustments, Miss Bokome will move to be Assistant Year Lead for Year 9, with Mr Murray-Bruce moving in the other direction to become Assistant Year Lead for Year 8. 

It is important that those who have summer exams approaching are living the values (discipline, hard work, honesty, and humility) in their revision throughout the break. Please note Ms Quirke’s advice below. I am very grateful to the large number of staff who have given up part of their holiday to come into school and work with small groups of pupils to aid this preparation.
