Year 12 UCAS Discovery
On 23rd March our Year 12s descended upon the UCAS Discovery exhibition at the Excel Centre, armed with nothing but empty tote bags and big dreams.
It was a high-stakes scavenger hunt for their futures, where students interrogated university reps about everything from advanced-level degree courses and tuition fees to the most important question of all: ‘Where is the best student nightlife?!’
Our students returned to school not only with a number of prospectuses and some free pens but also with some serious ‘food for thought’ regarding their next steps. Whether they’ve found their dream campus or are still deciding between Physics and Philosophy, it was a fantastic opportunity to see the world beyond the classroom. A huge well done to Year 12 for representing the school so well.
