Ski Trip to Italy
By Ranya, Year 8:
The Saracens ski trip to Aprica in Italy was a real escape to paradise. Everyone had the chance to experience something new and we feel lucky as not everyone could experience this opportunity.
I personally enjoyed the trip and I would love to come back next year. Everyone had fun and no matter how difficult the skiing was, we made progress and overcame our fears.
We have all been asked what our highlights were and these were some of them:
- The skiing!
- The peaceful view of the mountains
- Snowball fights
- Miss Green dancing early each morning whilst we got our ski boots on to wake us up
- The day that everyone went to the other side of the mountain together and had so much fun
- The homemade pasta everyday that the amazing hotel staff cooked for us
- The clown, moose and donkey award each day for the pupils that made the most progress at skiing and made everyone laugh
- Salami party (It was halal salami!)
- Everyone having fun, making new friends, looking out for each other and enjoying themselves
- The teachers shaking us until we fell of the bed to wake us up for an early morning ski!
- Karaoke
- Exploring the town and eating ice cream
