Sign Up for Duke of Edinburgh’s Award
The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award offers young people a powerful opportunity to develop vital life skills, build resilience, and stand out to future employers and universities. By committing to personal goals in volunteering, physical fitness, and specialist skills, participants cultivate strong teamwork and a lasting sense of responsibility. It is a highly respected achievement that fosters independent thinking, boosts confidence, and provides your child with a foundational advantage for their future academic and professional careers.
We’ve been successfully running DofE at Saracens High School for many years and we’re excited to get this new academic year underway! The entry points for different year groups are as follows:
- Year 9 pupils can sign up for Bronze*
- Year 10 Bronze achievers can move up to Silver
- Year 12 students have the choice of entering at either Silver or Gold level
The firm deadline to register your child is Friday 25th September. Don’t let them miss out on this incredible opportunity!
*Please note that anyone signing up for Bronze DofE must attend a parent presentation on September 23rd.
