Sixth Form Next Steps

Last week, a group of our sixth form students visited Anglia Ruskin University to learn more about careers in business and Law. Students took part in an engaging workshop designed to develop their employability skills and help them consider the qualities and experiences employers are looking for.

For our Year 13 students in particular, it is important that they are now beginning to think carefully about their next steps and taking an active role in researching their options, including apprenticeships and university open days. The internal school deadline for UCAS is approaching in November and apprenticeship applications are starting to go live on company websites!

A range of opportunities and useful information is being posted daily on the Google Classrooms that students have been asked to join. We encourage all students to check these regularly and make the most of the opportunities available to them as they plan their next steps beyond sixth form.
