Review of Trip To The Globe by Muzamel, year 8
On Thursday 10th of October, our generous school offered a free school trip to the world-famous Globe Theatre in central London, where we stood in the yard for a real and original feeling to the show, A Comedy of Errors.
I had not been to The Globe before or even seen the outside in person as, when we go to central London, we normally walk around Big Ben and the London Eye. However, that doesn’t mean The Globe should be seen as lesser as I believe it was one of the most exciting experiences, seeing famous actors and even having some classmates who shook hands with them!
My favourite part of the performance was definitely the chase and fight scenes, having executioners being hit by chairs (including the chairs breaking apart) and insane sword duel.
It also resulted in our own play back at the school having some fight scenes inspired by the actors’ scenes involving strong punches and kicks (which were all fake, but looked real).
Ultimately, my favourite part of the trip was the actual experience at The Globe and being right under famous actors.
