Mandarin Trip to Wing Yip
By Sophie A, Year 8
On April 30th a group of year 8 pupils went on a trip to Wing Yip.
We started the day in the supermarket where we looked at the collection of different foods and drinks ranging from frozen foods, breads, snacks, sweets, noodles, rice and even bubble tea. We then bought the ones that we wanted to try.
Afterwards we went for a delicious, traditional lunch where our food was placed on a lazy susan (chinese spinning table). Some of the dishes we enjoyed were vegetable fried rice, egg fried rice, tofu, Singapore style noodles and beansprout noodles.
To end this amazing trip we went to a nearby park with an amazing playground where we all played and released our energy. This trip was such a great experience and we all had so much fun.
