Holocaust Education
Our Year 8s were given the privilege of hearing an educational talk by good friend of our school, Hephzibah Rudofsky, daughter and granddaughter of Holocaust survivors.
Hephzibah spoke about what her family suffered under Nazi occupation. This complements our curriculum focus of the Holocaust and persecution of minorities. At a time where witness testimonies are scarce, due to the deaths of aging survivors, this was indeed a precious opportunity for our pupils to hear survivor testimonies of close family members.
We were pleased to see how attentively our pupils listened and to hear them ask insightful questions with respect.
