On the penultimate weekend of the half term 33 pupils from Year 9 embarked on their first Duke of Edinburgh expedition.
The pupils went to Tolmers Scout Centre in Cuffley where they participated in team building activities and began learning camp craft skills in preparation for their expeditions next spring.
Amazing memories were created, especially for the majority of pupils who hadn’t camped before.
Highlights included learning how to build a fire and then toasting marshmallows. For the teachers a definite highlight was getting 7 hours sleep!
