Year 8 Options

It has been a busy and productive term for our Year 8 pupils.

We were delighted to welcome so many of you to our recent Progress Evening. It was fantastic to hear so many positive conversations about the pupils’ hard work and academic growth.

Recently, the children have been focusing on their GCSE options process. At the start of term, they attended subject assemblies to understand the specifics of each course. Following this, they took part in taster sessions during learning group time, exploring new subjects such as Business Studies, Psychology, Sociology, Health and Social Care, Film Studies, and Computer Science.

An important date for your diary is Thursday 4th June, when pupils will have their formal Options Interviews with members of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to finalise their choices. Thank you for your continued support.
