Year 11
Year 11 pupils have had a very busy term. We are delighted to report that 80% of pupils scored 7+ in their ATL (Attitude to Learning) evaluation. We are also very proud of the positive attitude which the Year 11s showed over the strike days – they handled the situation with maturity and attended the mock examinations with the seriousness and focus required.
During the past term, the school hosted a special revision session which was conducted by Middlesex University. Here, pupils benefited by learning about exam strategies and built their confidence with effective revision techniques. Their growth mindset attitude is to be commended.
A visit to the London Dungeons afforded a welcome respite from the hard revision work. Finally, we selected the Year 11 Prefects for the school; the shortlist was impressive, with many strong candidates. The selection committee, after much deliberation, selected 11 pupils for the positions offered. We are certain they will make an immensely positive impact within our community.
