Visiting Musicians

Music rang around the corridors during Arts Week!

Carlos Camara led the pupils in an African drumming workshop, teaching the children the three strokes of a jambe and how to perform solos.

Members of the British Army spoke to our pupils about life in the army as a professional musician. Pupils were amazed that you could join the army and be paid to perform music. The children learnt some of the benefits of working in the forces and even took part in a press up competition!
