Velopark

Some of our pupils from the Go Forward cohort visited the Olympic Park in Stratford to cycle in the velodrome and on the BMX track. 

The pupils had the opportunity to ride the professional racing and BMX bikes while under the supervision of instructors. They then relished racing against one another on the different tracks.

Year 7 pupil, Coby, impressed the BMX instructor when he completed the entire BMX track without stopping. Harley was equally as impressive. On the velodrome Carlos and Jaden impressed as they raced around the track. 

It was apparent that the children were exhausted from all of the racing as they fell asleep on the train back!
