Junior Enterprise

Our Year 8 pupils finished second in a Junior Enterprise competition at Middlesex University.

Over a day’s session, teams were tasked with designing a recycling solution that could be used within the home. Teams were given a choice of four materials to recycle and judges assessed entries on a range of criteria, including: originality; clear problem identification; creative design choice; financial savings; and the recycled material used. 

The team from Saracens High confidently presented their innovative concept for melting and remoulding plastic within the home. After answering a range of challenging questions from the judges about the mechanics, feasibility and economics behind their idea they were awarded second place.
