London Youth Concert Band

Bassoon is a particularly difficult wind instrument to master but sixth former Laila has persevered with refining the art since she started learning in primary school.

In September Laila joined the London Youth Concert Band and has enjoyed many opportunities to perform with the group. The Concert Band play a range of styles from film music to jazz to pop hits past and present.

We are so proud of our pupils and students for their achievements outside of school as well as within. We wish Laila all the best with her music and particularly hope she has a wonderful time on the band’s tour of Belgium in the summer holidays.
