Gliding
A group of pupils from year 11 stepped out of their comfort zones and created lasting memories when they went gliding.
The experience was highly enriching, equipping pupils with new skills, building confidence and, in some cases, helping young people overcome a fear of heights.
This successful trip was made possible for the third consecutive year thanks to the continued support of the charity Youth Gliding. A senior representative from the charity visited and commended our pupils on their knowledge and engagement during the session. He also shared information about potential gliding scholarships.
We’re grateful for the support of our governor, Michael Green, who volunteered as the driver for the day and whose presence was greatly appreciated. We are already looking forward to participating in this enriching trip again next year!
