GCSE Drama Backstage Tour

Year 10 Drama pupils were given a once-in-a-lifetime experience to see the backstage workings of a major, central London theatre.

A backstage tour of the National Theatre on the Southbank enhanced our pupils’ understanding of all that goes on behind-the-scenes of every production. Pupils were introduced to the breadth of jobs involved in theatre, beyond the performers.

We look forward to seeing how this experience will impact their performances in the immediate future and their career choices after school.
