D of E in The New Forest
The New Forest once again played host to our Silver D of E team as they navigated the following on their 3 night expedition:
- From Hurst View up to Tile Barn (Military funded camp)
- Across to Holmsley (an ex RAF airfield)
- Up to the Canadian war memorial
The explorers chose to investigate wildlife for their aim and observed wild horses and ponies during their adventure. They also opted for a varied diet of porridge oats and pasta for all three meals so I am sure they enjoyed home cooking once they were back home!
