Year 8 Soapbox Challenge

Innovative Enterprise came to our school in July to run the Soapbox Challenge for our Year 8 pupils. The pupils worked in teams of 7 to plan, price, produce, package and pitch their soaps! Each group elected CEOs and Marketing Managers, they calculated profit margins and even produced TV adverts.

 

After creating their soaps in the science labs (leaving the entire science corridor smelling of lavender!) the pupils pitched their ideas to one another and also to Doctor Stevens. All groups worked brilliantly but it was ‘Soap Box’ who were crowned victors for their excellent creativity, leadership and presentation.

 

Well done Year 8, your enterprise skills were outstanding.
