What better way to deepen pupils’ understanding of their GCSE English texts than to see them performed?

Year 10 watched engaging performances of two of their set texts when The Globe Players visited our school.

Four skilled actors brought to life Macbeth and An Inspector Calls. As well as dramatising the plays the performers also explained various aspects of the scripts and staging.

The morning was thoroughly enjoyable and will help prepare the pupils for their GCSE exams.
