Visiting Theatre Company

On Monday 26 February pupils in Year 10 were treated to a performance of Followers by award winning Synergy Theatre Company.

The play explored themes of social media misuse, misogyny and following your friends. The pupils also had a post show Q&A with the actors from the show where they were able to find out more about the actors and their journey into performing professionally.

Following the show the Drama GCSE pupils took part in a workshop with a facilitator and actors from Synergy, exploring the themes and choices made in the play Followers.

It was a really useful day and a great example of how drama causes us to think and promotes discussion.
