Cambridge University
Some pupils in Year 10 enjoyed the incredible experience of visiting one of Cambridge University’s 31 colleges.
Early in the spring term some of our pupils joined three other Barnet schools on a visit to Gonville and Caius College. The children were shown around the world-class facilities and were given an insight into life as an undergraduate. They also had the application process explained to them and were given tips on what makes applicants stand out.
The pupils listened to two lectures at the Whipple Museum on the evolution of anatomical knowledge and medical instruments.
The day gave pupils an insight into life at a leading university and we hope it has spurred them on to keep working hard to achieve their goals.
