Holocaust Survivor’s Daughter
History was brought to life for our Year 8 pupils when the daughter of a Holocaust survivor came in to share her mother’s stories with them.
Hephzibah Rudofsky, whose mother used to visit the school before she passed away, engaged our young historians with personal anecdotes of the genocide committed by the Nazi regime during the Second World War. The artefacts she brought with her further captivated our pupils, making tangible what they learn about in class.
Thank you so much for your visit, Hephzibah, and to the History department for organising this important day.
