STEM sessions with Imperial College
A group of pupils from Year 10 were really engaged in sessions delivered at school by members of the Afro-Caribbean Society from Imperial College London.
The enormously impressive students, Nissi Okine and Fumnanya Ifeogwu, inspired our young people to keep working hard to make their aspirations a reality.
The Imperial students shared:
-Their journey into STEM degrees at the world-leading Imperial College, including high school studies, extracurricular endeavours and admissions tests
-Information about medicine and engineering with a quiz to reinforce learning
-An insight into student life including how to balance personal life and study, and money management
We send off our first ever cohort of students to universities and workplaces this summer and hope that it won’t be long before one of our alumni enrols at Imperial!
