Year 10 Go Ice Skating
Year 10’s first Making Memories experience of the year was ice skating at Alexandra Palace.
Taking pupils ice skating at ‘Ally Pally’ can be a nerve-wracking experience but the Year 10s this year were fantastic. It was great to see people conqueirng their fears and progressing from clinging to the sides for dear life to stepping out onto the ice unassisted.
One of the attendants commented on how kind the young people were and we couldn’t agree more. The pupils helped one another and also made a special effort to welcome new pupils to ensure they also had a brilliant day.
Well done Year 10, you made Miss Nelson, Miss Vodden and all of your learning coaches very proud indeed.
