Lifesavers Day

The London Ambulance visited Saracens High School on 5th May.

Year 8 really enjoyed working in groups with paramedics to practice the steps for regular First Aid with a training dummy and a training defibrillator.

Personally, my favourite part of the session was learning how to use a defibrillator and how to support other lifesavers. We found out that the defibrillator can be dangerous if not used properly.

We are grateful for the visit from them!
