Chinatown

Our Mandarin learners recently traded the classroom for the vibrant streets of London’s Chinatown, putting their language skills into action. The day began with a cultural scavenger hunt, where pupils successfully navigated local shops to identify traditional ingredients and practice their speaking skills with shopkeepers.

The group enjoyed a well-deserved break at a popular bubble tea spot before heading to a Malaysian restaurant for a communal dinner. Sharing authentic dishes provided the perfect backdrop for pupils to discuss their favourite parts of the trip—entirely in Mandarin!

From ordering snacks to exploring the iconic red-lanterned streets, it was an unforgettable day of immersion.
