Tower of London

Our Year 8 pupils stepped back in time with a fantastic trip to the Tower of London. As one of Britain’s oldest and most historic landmarks, the fortress was the perfect setting to explore stories of ancient adventures.

The highlight for many was seeing the crown jewels and learning the secrets behind royal coronations. We also tested our fitness by climbing what felt like over 1,000 stairs! At the top, we encountered the fearsome dragon guarding the gunpowder used for the cannons.

With beautiful sunny weather and history coming to life, it was a truly memorable day for everyone.
