Questioning Stereotypes
It was a privilege to welcome back good friend of our school, Bernie, to lead some impactful sessions with our pupils. Visitors like him, along with our PSHCEE curriculum, play a vital role in the children’s education.
By discussing topics such as stereotypes, Bernie encouraged our young people to look beyond first impressions and question their own assumptions. These sessions help pupils think critically about the society they live in, rather than simply accepting things at face value.
Ultimately, these interactions teach our pupils the importance of empathy and respect. They learn how to become upstanding citizens who challenge unfairness and support one another in their local community.
