Saracens Way Day

Saracens Way Day was designed to welcome pupils back and to remind them about our routines and expectations and, most importantly, the reason why we have these routines.

The main message we shared with all year groups was to live our four values and to be ready, respectful and safe. We reminded pupils about expectations when out of lessons and in different areas of the building in order to look after our buildings and each other.

We practiced routines in lessons such as the Silent Do Now, the use of mini whiteboards to check for everyone’s understanding, Turn and Talk to discuss ideas, and ways we can improve knowledge to stay in our long term memories. By practicing these routines there are fewer distractions so that we can all benefit from disruption free learning.

We will be sharing more with families throughout the year and we welcome families to come and see our routines in action so that you can reinforce them at home.
