On the first day of December, the charity Helping Hands from Willesden Temple, delivered a donation of food for breakfast club.
It was wonderful meeting Anish Halai and Vipal Hirani. We’re grateful for the support we receive from local charities like these.
To kick off Other Abilities Month the Grow & Thrive team invited pupils from The Courtyard school in Islington to join us for wheelchair rugby, taught by coaches from Saracens Wheelchair Rugby Club.
All of the pupils had a fantastic time learning the many skills required for wheelchair rugby. The workshop concluded with a friendly match which was played in good spirits.
All pupils and their families are warmly invited to join us for our winter fair on Wednesday 17th December, 4-5.30pm.

12 pupils travelled by minibus along with Mr Malte, Mr Owusu and Mr Hawkes. The group left school at 3.30pm, replete with school packed lunches. At 3.50pm, in the Friday traffic, they were’nt yet on Mill Hill Broadway and most of the lunches had been consumed!
The Shed (literally a purpose-built shed in a garden with 5 pro football tables) was a perfect location and the pupils had a very happy time, competing in singles and doubles matches. The host was happy to show off his many trophies and teach some tricks, and was delighted to sign balls for our team.
Saracens High table footballers made a tremendous amount of merry noise in The Shed, which continued in the minibus on their way back to school.
