Our Year 12 students recently took part in a skills-based Making Memories experience designed to equip them with the tools to aim high and stay resilient when things don’t quite go to plan (because let’s face it – setbacks happen!).

Throughout the day, students explored the link between money and responsibility, learning how to make informed decisions about their futures – including the importance of choosing a career they genuinely enjoy, rather than just one that pays the bills.

They worked in teams to tackle a range of real-life scenarios, debating big questions about life, work, and priorities. There were plenty of thoughtful discussions, moments of healthy competition, and a few eye-opening realisations along the way.

Overall, it was a valuable and engaging experience that encouraged students to think carefully about their ambitions, resilience, and the kind of future they want to build.
