This has involved pupils using the Look - Cover - Write technique to memorise key knowledge in all of their subjects. Grow - Free After School Club

GROW run a free after school club on the GROW Farm at The Totteridge Academy every Wednesday during term time from 3.30-5pm. Children are given hands-on experience of chicken care, seed sowing, watering, weeding, fire making and cooking. Early in the spring term Year 7 enjoyed a day of Escape Rooms. In each classroom the children visited they were faced with different games and challenges. These included mazes, anagrams, word searches and other puzzles to encourage critical thinking and problem solving. Following on from last term's application skills workshops, fourteen sixth formers attended an academic taster day hosted by Christ Church College, Oxford. Students heard from undergraduates and were given a tour around accommodation and college facilities.
